Pasteurization Tunnel

Tunnel Pasteurisation: Glass bottles and aluminum can filling frequently use tunnel pasteurization. The calculation of temperature and timing depends on the quantity of pasteurization units (PU) needed. One PU is the micro death that happens after a beverage is kept at 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) for a minute.
 
Tunnel Pasteurisation Procedure
Bottles are moved from one side of the chamber to the other by a conveyor belt after they have been sealed and filled with food or drink. Before the bottles reach pasteurization temperature, they are subjected to progressively hotter water.
